Just One More Tomorrow

I watch the sun gracefully say goodnight to the
waking stars blinking and twinkling against the early night sky
I know vividly the one I can't forgets out there and
that makes me always try, I cannot explain after all this time when so much has passed us by, It makes no difference now at all this love I cannot quit,
I close my eyes against tonight and there I see you sit, so snug and warm tucked away from that winters cold back then,
How your eyes pierced me down to the debts of my taken soul the very moment we met, I was there to stay when your heart whispered all my uncertainties away, I hear the music of that night as the gabby people dine,
and for the moment I'm standing there as if standing still in time, I feel your eyes drink me up as I slowly sip some wine, then as traceless as our footprints in that late nights bygone snow, we stared in wonder, gently shook hands and slowly both let go. I think of you each passing day and dream my nights away, but always wake to reality and to myself I say, just one more tomorrow, I know your out there somewhere, you only supposed our love could never be, and I ponder and I wonder, if you ever think of me, You traded true love for one that would never make the climb, nor wait or hope and pray or dream, you and I are two of a kind. I would have loved you more with a love you've never known, a never ending faithful love until the end of time, Well...
Just one more tomorrow, maybe then you'll be mine.

New Millennium

The new millennium is here and what have we done raised a son or a daughter that's commendable for some But what have we taught them and what have they learned many years have since passed Is it for those years you yearn Then things were quite simple for a man and his wife when high morals and ethics were guides in one's life Having dinner as a family playing together with the kid's many parents today have no clue what that is Are those days really gone when a mother stays home working hard for her family the children not left alone When Dad mowed the lawn On a Saturday morn with Mom cooking breakfast by her children adored with Spike running crazy all across the grass kid's running and giggling are those days now our past Where did we go wrong did we become greedy or ashamed of our grandparents lives or from where we all came Did we think we knew better with higher education an all did we ignore family values did we make the call Whatever we did we did it all wrong It's yours mine and ours family units aren't strong The new Millennium is here and to what did we amount maybe grandpa was right It's the little things that count When a man can see good for all his hard work When a wife shows support for all that he's worth when children feel loved and show love in return when respect is a virtue we all will have learned Maybe then we can sing and be off good cheer better days are ahead the New Millennium is here!

Thursday

Who Is At My door?

Who is at my door
wanting to embrace me
Have your footsteps
deceived you or has
your heart become ashamed
Is that you at my door
have you come to reclaim
the love you abolished
with your mistress so fair
drunk with her charms
have you become
nothing,
Who is at my door
standing there in tears
crushed,
Did you not believe
I could be redeemed
Dear passionate man
my hearts a flame of fire
burning endlessly for
a new love,
who has silenced my pain

Dedicated

For her I have a fondness
a poet could not describe
such flawless love
Like the low plains never ending
blazing across the earth
only you portray me complete
how your love encircles me
and brightens my life
scarlet lips melting me
into your power
your beautiful form
so feminine and sweet
arouses the love I
desire to share
with you alone

For him I have a fondness
a million men cannot
compare to my love
your hands so strong
your manly physique
your lips so sweet
I am a rose in your gates
you are altogether captivating
unforgettable and desirable
and you arouse in me
the love I desire to share
with you alone

Friday

Just My Magination

The sun has caught sight
of something impressive
ridding it's shadowy veil
allowing her eyes to see
Alarmed at such perfection
she hastens discreetly
to see the man
Quaking in silence her heart beats
with desire as she gazes breathlessly
His sculptured thighs
solid like pillars of stone
arouses her startled curiosity
His innocent smile takes her breath away
his indigo eyes pierce her
as they call her
His spirit reveals to her the weak
splendor devouring her soul
She pants be still my heart
he can't be real
With eyes wide open
she begins to melt
Mystified without control
she has fallen in love
Like refined gold he shines
far from choice
like the work of an artist
standing there

Scattered Tears

Prettiness has dashed him awake he has become nothing next to her power Lost in his scattered tears She has taken her stand like a tempestuous wind she collapses his spirit he lies sleepless In his scattered tears Lying on rocks near the sea he is aroused by her beauty everything about her is desirable parched with thirst tasting his Scattered tears Her unkissed lips dripping with arrogant lust he lies dependent in her train O strong man a thousand men strong Who can rescue you from your desire for scattered tears

Ravaged In Silk

Dew drops of tears dancing on her face fine linen and silk masquerade her disgrace Disguised she's the queen feel the music and dance ravaged and broken she's in love at a glance Devotion blazing mighty and boisterous within thirsting for a love that will never begin Blameless and lovely bathing in milk not knowing her destiny lies ravaged in silk-

The Children Come First

Now isn't the time for your careers
when the trust of helpless feet
run to your twisted fears
Then hate begins to enter in
Will the shrug of your shoulders
mold their hearts within
Their taught how to walk
by the stranger you pay
who resemble the role
mom and dad should display
There's nothing you can buy them
and your words have no meaning
they were not born to lose you
nor comprehend that meaning
The battle is raging
in kid's everywhere
They cry and they fight
for a life that is fair
Soft sighs in the window
dreaming only in vain
Wondering what could be worth more
then their neglect and pain
Who are you working for if not
for yourselves?
entrapped by the Jones, maybe
that materialistic spell?
The children will go
as soon as they grow and you've
nothing to hold them nor
bring them back home
Money won't matter but then
you'll be old
knowing the price
you paid wasn't worth all of earth's gold
Those with careers might raise a brow
for the sake of your children, and forever vow now
The kid's come first.

In Your Silence

In your silence you set aflame coals of fire alarming even the angelic making my steps wobble with unspoken passion you ruthlessly stole my heart In Your Silence you painted a portrait of your charm and sealed it eternally in the memory of my heart Incensed at your callous splendor I despise this love I crave so desperately Remember, surely you have not forgotten that I still exist In Your Silence I was captured by the aura of your presence caught in your power I remain a fugitive forgotten in love

Troubled Hearts

Dashed into pieces
fallen by trust
Could you be more unkind
Dare I adjust
How much is too much

troubled hearts ask
frantically
For all earths hearts
there are twice the darts
Indeed
Do you care to renew

leap into the pan
fire too
How much is too much

Irrelevant
She needs you

Forgotten Flowers

Forgotten flowers under the sky glowing with beauty as pink clouds go by She stands at the threshold where love is to bloom surpassingly beautiful with weaken perfume Forgotten flowers and a tearful eye the happiest sad day for the rest of her life How can she show her face back in town in a robe of sadness she slowly lies down Forgotten flowers what sort of man if you will does this to a woman the mystery baffles me still

Betrayal

Alluding to betrayal
without going on
the secret is revealed
the evidence is strong
A seared untrue haven

a ruthless snooty nose
untold echoes of evil
only her heart knows
She genuinely hurt him

with a trellis of blows
the mystery of senseless girls
forever bestows
A painful edge broken

in the heart's of some guy's
Beware of old perfume
and that ole tearful eye

Devious Grace

Ravage me with your devious grace
dissolving beads of love into one
lingering promise
With delicate threads you tied up my heart and

forever hold it captive
Mystify me with your devious grace

disguising your hidden desires with charming
expressions of friendship
I am a prisoner in your shelter of disarray
Ravish me with your devious grace

while my heart is singing
Smooth are your lips filled with words of endearment

winking longingly behind me to another
Devious grace marring the innocence of love

will you forever
Vanish

The Wine I Shall Never Taste

As the vine for sweet wine
goes on and on and entangles itself
relentlessly my heart has become
trapped in the vineyard of your charms
From the fragrance of the vine so beautiful

and sweet my love has blossomed and I am
unable to move at the sight of you
Do tell me how to escape for I have become drunk

with your persuasive power and my heart is drowning
Like a seal upon the finest wine is the seal upon my heart

holding the purest love as endless as the vine
As I reach for the vine it withers away before me

with the hope of ever having my lips touch
the wine I shall never taste

A Woman Scorned

A thousand hearts indeed can beguile, but your all better off leaping into a fire if you have smiled at your mistress so fair hiding her all the while Heaven itself cannot hold the tempestuous winds a woman can render quite well, and you can just bet there is no such rage felt even down in the pit's of hell You best pack your bags and chase the most distant star for the alphabet holds no words in it You could possibly say or cry out to avoid a woman scorned venom!

Still Friends

I had forgotten the way in which we had met the day we set out different ways to beget and the worse of this turned into the best Though there were kisses we've forgotten the rest!

What We Ain't

Shimmering lips
gloss and shine
tinged with excitement

a facet of rubies a
necklace of pearls

The ultimate style
labeled with taste
"Vogue, eat your heart out"
there's no time to waste

"He's picking me up at a
quarter of seven, I want him
to see a dream made in heaven

A little more powder
a little more paint
makes us look like
what we ain't!

I'm Over It!

Stars in the sky glowing in the night I lie contented in bed and sip on my wine Never before and never again will the high price for penalty predict where I end Weak and confused for a moment and then The buck stops here Baby I'm over it I win!

This Sort of Breed

In robes of hate they walk around the hideous valleys inside their heads found With unfastened restraint and presumptuous minds entombed in their hearts lie unspeakable crimes They live by the sword and will die by it too, this sort of breed, that we all know who I dare not waste more luminous rhyme they're not worth this ink nor our precious time

A lovers fortitude with style imbued labeled in pleasure oh no woo woo Strings of perfection masses of strength excitement blazing in his natural physique Embarrassingly tan forget me not because he’s my guy hot, hot, hot!

Someone Unfortunate

Someone unfortunate is pursing me as with powerful wings he embraces me helplessly and devours my heart Like a blazing fire my emotions flare up uncovering lovesick desire Caught in his arrow I am collapsing as if into dark waters Someone unfortunate is gazing upon me he brightens my nights through my dreams hostile with passionate desire he entangles me In the ropes of his charms aroused my heart is inclined melting away painfully in his power help me for his passions will devour me conceal me away from the net of his lips Someone Unfortunate wants me I hear his footsteps as he encircle my dreams constant like a flowing river he rekindles my desire and I am wrapped in mourning

Night at Bass Lake Ducey's Lodge

A cold winters night up at Bass Lake "Can you see is that them?" "O those devious fakes" The night was black with no shine from the moon so we pulled the car closer to see inside the saloon "At least their alone at a table for two" "They still shouldn't be here without me and you "So much beers on the table that I’ve never understood" "Can you understand its snowing and we're on the car hood? "Oh I'm gonna to kill him theres a girl standing there" "Don’t panic it’s their waitress and they both hate red hair" "They’re looking outside let's shoot-em a moon" "They know our butts by now their not newly wed grooms" "Well, I'm freezing mine off and starting to shiver the snows getting deep I can’t stop this quiver" "Yea, Look at that fire they’re all toasty inside we need to find a warmer place we can spy!" "I'm freezing cold, it's windy and I have to go pee" "Just go pee in the snow then start climbing this tree" "O snap my pants are stuck on a branch, I can't grab hold "Jump into the snow it should soften the blow" "Sneaking into Ducey's is where we're gonna to go" "It won't be pretty if we get caught" "I don’t care at the moment my butt’s froze in a knott" "ahh...it's so warm in here" "Crap, here comes Wayne, get behind the door" (whispering) "He's going into the mens room once hes in, run across the floor" "OMG stairs! we have to stay here" "Get behind the curtains Wayne's, heading back to his beer" "Let's just sit here" "It's perfect we can peek up over the stairs" "How much more can they drink before feeling the grief" "There's no telling but I know Greg, holdin' his pee!" "We better pray those two don't wanna go see the band, I hate to think where we could both possibly land" "Here they come OMG girl we are doomed" "Their gonna kill us if they catch us" "Hurry hit the ladies room" "shhhh, they’re on the other side of the door" "Oh no their heading outside, they’ll see the old ford" "We should have left early now where we gonna go?" "Quick get up on my shoulders and get your ass out that window"(fell) (whispering, laughing & scared) "My face hurts from hitting the snow unhook my boot off the nail, lets bail girl let’s go" "We're parked over there by the big pine tree" (Gasp) "We parked next to them" "Oh dear God that can’t be" "They’re going to the truck, run, run ,run" (running between cars) "hurry unlock the door" "Get in the car, forget being tidy" "Hit the old 41 and push it to ninety" "Go,go,go don't look back" (haulin ass on a slick hwy with no street lights!) "We're gonna die tonight!" "We gonna beat em home" (Pulling into the garage 35 minutes later) "Shut off the lights" "I'll sit by the fire, you lay on the chair" "Put in 'Gone With the Wind' they'll never know we were there" (TWO MINUTES LATER!) "Hi guys.... where you been all night out in that cold?" "Yea boy's, you should have stayed here with us" "You missed a really good show!" Self Enabler!

Inclined to fatigue you won’t live very long embracing every heartache does not make one strong Constantly descending upon rivers of pain your days will be numbered not many remain Enveloped intensely over coffee and tears in silence your heartbreaks slowly lest lack of cheers Dear crazy one haggeling all life's drizzery you cannot change the world be ever balanced in your misery!

Does She Not Know

She sits alone on her new bed in a silent room away from the love she claims to hate calling it the worlds worst gloom Fading memories leave emptiness and her ignored heart cries out I'm lonely and I'm tired Her pride does not know she has become cold and cannot feel tomorrow She says she has no time and laughs at her success with charm, screaming aloud in anger I do not need my mothers arms Does she not know she's not yet deep as deep can be She keeps demanding she's feels happy, complete and her life's now trouble free What she needs is the thing, the one that will not die, the one and only thing money truly cannot buy Does she not know life can be lived alone and without love one begins to die

Political Babble

Merely this and nothing more were the words spoken to make the crowds roar Nameless not blameless shameness is muttered Alas more broken words will be uttered Peering into realism cause the people to sigh alone on the throne desolate words usher by Mischievous more devious words legends do tell merrily live on while the forbidden prevails Do you have faith in these words resembling one’s heard before Prestige greed and power mark the rhymes of man’s horror So very bold yet obscurely old intertwined with histories vast dabble This again is merely men with their political babble

A Debt We All Owe

Remember when we were much wiser then they when we pretended to listen while lessons were laid Where everything they said was out dated and harsh and we could not wait to get out of the house Time has taught lessons that have now come to pass there's no getting around how we wish to go back to lying in bed without worry or fear of bills being paid or what happens next year A debt to our parents no doubt will remain what could we possibly give them In exchange for their pain The self-sacrificing love to us that they showed and years of hard work with life’s heavy load For all of their time each and everyday all their love and disappointments we could never repay We need to take time and meditate for awhile on the power we have to just make them smile and never neglect the time left to spend with the ones who gave us life and we could always depend

Women at 50

You've made it this far
to fifty and then
people say your someone
other than you've been
A young nightingale could not
sing the blues better than you
from the rocky trodden down life
you've been put through
Speechless at times
nothing said really matters
Mind refreshing moments are
replaced by past shatters
and all you want now is some
peace of mind
A friend
Good love story
and glass of fine wine!

Revenge of Mother Earth

Mans thrilling display of vigor and strength
cower in the fury of mother earths hostile blink
Obnoxiously boastful with they’re arrogant physique
compared to a gorilla mans quite physically weak
Is there a reason to boast with great words as you do?
The forces of energy were here long before your debut
Thunderous lungs of the political dictators chant yet
not one can hold a thousand times his weight
whispers the lowly ant
There is no contest with this tiny insect at all
the strongest men alive cannot equal his phenomenal
Great mental giants with dazzled flickering eyes
is it not the wind and oceans you have only utilized
Obsessed physical weaklings with great swelling words
shrink with trembling minds from all that's now heard
and the ceaseless tides of praise impressive scientist befall
bragging of their devastating accomplishments based on simple
fundamental laws
This perverted concept of what greatness you've achieved
are merely applied forces of earths dynamic energy
Your boastful lips and children will taste the angry sea
since you've rob her of her glory and repaid her with debris
Now your insolent minds grasp the incensed winds dashing at you
while she vengefully laughs crying out in her pain her raging
fire will melt your thoughtlessness and wash it away with rain
you never listened to her wounds nor healed her cries on the breeze
you vaunted men in high places she will now bring you to your knees
and this beautiful earth you smite will soon cover over you
returning you to the dust she so graciously gave to you
the revenge of Mother earth
O how could you
