I watch the sun gracefully say goodnight to the
waking stars blinking and twinkling against the early night sky
I know vividly the one I can't forgets out there and
that makes me always try, I cannot explain after all this time when so much has passed us by, It makes no difference now at all this love I cannot quit,
I close my eyes against tonight and there I see you sit, so snug and warm tucked away from that winters cold back then,
How your eyes pierced me down to the debts of my taken soul the very moment we met, I was there to stay when your heart whispered all my uncertainties away, I hear the music of that night as the gabby people dine, and for the moment I'm standing there as if standing still in time, I feel your eyes drink me up as I slowly sip some wine, then as traceless as our footprints in that late nights bygone snow, we stared in wonder, gently shook hands and slowly both let go. I think of you each passing day and dream my nights away, but always wake to reality and to myself I say, just one more tomorrow, I know your out there somewhere, you only supposed our love could never be, and I ponder and I wonder, if you ever think of me, You traded true love for one that would never make the climb, nor wait or hope and pray or dream, you and I are two of a kind. I would have loved you more with a love you've never known, a never ending faithful love until the end of time, Well...
Just one more tomorrow, maybe then you'll be mine.

New Millennium
The new millennium is here and what have we done raised a son or a daughter that's commendable for some But what have we taught them and what have they learned many years have since passed Is it for those years you yearn Then things were quite simple for a man and his wife when high morals and ethics were guides in one's life Having dinner as a family playing together with the kid's many parents today have no clue what that is Are those days really gone when a mother stays home working hard for her family the children not left alone When Dad mowed the lawn On a Saturday morn with Mom cooking breakfast by her children adored with Spike running crazy all across the grass kid's running and giggling are those days now our past Where did we go wrong did we become greedy or ashamed of our grandparents lives or from where we all came Did we think we knew better with higher education an all did we ignore family values did we make the call Whatever we did we did it all wrong It's yours mine and ours family units aren't strong The new Millennium is here and to what did we amount maybe grandpa was right It's the little things that count When a man can see good for all his hard work When a wife shows support for all that he's worth when children feel loved and show love in return when respect is a virtue we all will have learned Maybe then we can sing and be off good cheer better days are ahead the New Millennium is here!
